I’m Joeline Hackman, your Independent state candidate for Manly.

I grew up on the Northern Beaches and I’ve always been deeply connected to our community with strong affiliations to surf life saving, school, sport and environmental groups. 

As an independent business woman I know first hand the importance of clear and decisive legislation that supports businesses to plan for their long term success.  I also have experience in identifying opportunities where additional community support is most needed and leading a targeted response.

When Covid devastated our local businesses and medical community, I immediately co-founded Feed Our Medics to relieve pressure on frontline medics and create a revenue stream for small business hospitality sector.

I started the Northern Beaches War On Waste five years ago to bring together like-minded locals and Council leaders to find local solutions to global problems.

I have always advocated for people and causes who are not getting the support they need. I believe people need to be put first - and the planet - because our social, physical, mental and environmental health are not political issues, they are community issues.

We could all be working together more closely to do better and I’m ready to lead our community to achieve its full potential.

Joeline is vocal about issues affecting the people of Manly.
